Melanie’s bio

Melanie is an ISSA certified personal trainer and fitness nutritionist.

As a military spouse, she came to California from Germany in 2012. Shortly after she moved to the area she became a member of Training Zone and started her transformation by taking a wide variety of group classes. After she lost 60lbs, she took her newfound passion for fitness to another level and started bodybuilding. Since then she won multiple trophies as a natural bodybuilding competitor.

She became a personal trainer because she believes that exercise doesn’t just change the way you look but also the way you feel. Now that she is leading a fit and healthy life herself she wants to share her experience and especially her love for fitness with others. Her motto is “fit is not a destination, but a way of life”.

Her specialties are strength training, weight loss, and weight management as well as functional fitness.

Sabrina Hintz bio

Sabrina obtained her Personal Trainer certification through the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) in 2015. She is also a current Body Pump instructor as well as Low. Intensity. Functional. Exercise. (LIFE) Coach.

She grew up in Citrus Heights, Ca where she met her husband of 14 years. She began her passion for fitness after being fortunate enough to be a part-time working mom at the USPS. After her fourth child was born, going to the gym was becoming more of a lifestyle change. She came to Training Zone as a member then realized her passion and love for fitness. She got started by becoming a certified Les Mills Body Pump instructor in 2013. Constantly pushing and challenging herself, she found it more relatable to help people in the same situations. Educating herself in fitness, nutrition and functional training, personal training simply became the next step. She believes everyday functional movements and training should be the basic skills mastered. Building from those skills can take you anywhere. She absolutely loves her career and appreciates her Training Zone family.

One of my favorite quotes is: “Don’t count your day, make every day count!” and most recently, “Training gives us an outlet for suppressed energies created by stress and thus tones the spirit just as exercise conditions the body.”
