She has over 8 years of experience working in clinical and outpatient physical therapy settings as well as in an orthopedic surgery office working with clients during their recovery and strengthening process. As a personal trainer and coach, Zoey enjoys training her clients to further their quality of life and achieve their goals.

Michelle has been involved with sports her whole life but really became interested in fitness and health as a career while in high school. She participated in the Sports Medicine ROP program for two years and worked in a physical therapy office. She was part of the Athletic Training Program at Cabrillo College where she received her AA and played women’s soccer. From there, she went on to play in Kansas and studied Biology. She then moved back to California and transferred her focus to Kinesiology and pursuing physical therapy at Sacramento State, focusing on sports rehabilitation. While she was completing her degree, she began personal training in Granite Bay. Michelle’s passion is helping others learn how to workout safely and live a healthy lifestyle.

Dave’s love of body building began at the young age of ten. He followed his passion with years of competition work winning numerous professional titles. At the same time, he trained as a medical technician through which he gained an extensive knowledge of the body’s muscular and connective tissue systems. Dave is now a certified personal trainer and massage therapist. His practice is not limited to those interested in competitive bodybuilding. He also provides recreational strength and balance training for all ages and levels of fitness, including pre- and post-operative rehabilitation. He offers therapeutic body work here at Training Zone to compliment his training.

Amos became a fitness enthusiast while serving in the Marine Corps from 2010-2015, taking pride in achieving perfect scores on the Physical Fitness Test and Combat Fitness Test. As training officer at an intel unit in Quantico, he organized physical training events and was responsible for the Body Conditioning Program, designed for Marines who need to improve their test scores or lose weight to meet Marine Corps standards.

In 2014, after being certified through International Sports Sciences Association, Amos began working part-time as a trainer at XSport Fitness in the Washington, D.C. area, where he continued to work after his military service ended until relocating to California in June 2019. He is currently working toward a degree in kinesiology.

His personal interests include amateur bodybuilding, trying to keep up with his girlfriend when she runs, backpacking, and kayaking.

Hannah Acosta is a lifetime Grass Valley local and mother of three. Hannah found her love of real food and strength training during her own health journey in 2014. The following year, she joined CrossFit Pick Axe to train for the LongBeach ½ Marathon. From there, Hannah furthered her passion by purchasing Crossfit Pick Axe and running numerous Spartan and Tough Mudder races. Hannah realized her vision of fitness and health closely mirrored that of NorCal Strength & Conditioning. She has recently merged her affiliate and joined the team at Training Zone as the Head Coach for NorCal Strength & Conditioning Grass Valley. “It's my goal to encourage, support and train anyone who is ready! Life is too beautiful and short to waste on striving to be anything but the best version of yourself.” Hannah Is always trying to be the best she can be! She has experience in Physical Therapy post op rehab and as a Medical Assistant. Hannah is currently working on her Brand X Kids Coaches courses, along with NASM Personal Training certification, Women's Fitness Specialist, and Sports Nutrition Specialist Certifications. Sabrina is a current BodyPump instructor as well as Low Intensity Functional Exercise (LIFE) Coach. She began her passion for fitness after her fourth child was born and she included the gym in her lifestyle change. She came to Training Zone as a member, then became a certified Les Mills BodyPump instructor in 2013. Constantly pushing and challenging herself, she found it more relatable to help people in the same situations. Educating herself in fitness, personal training, and nutrition and functional training became the next step in her fitness journey. She believes everyday functional movements and training should be the basic skills mastered. Building from those skills can take you anywhere. She absolutely loves her career and appreciates her Training Zone family.

Taylor’s enthusiasm for health and fitness began the first time she entered a gym. As she expanded her knowledge of training routines, she grew to know more about fitness and its role in the health of the human body. As she became more fit, she moved into bodybuilding then powerlifting. Taylor is a member of the US Powerlifting Association (USPA) and a powerlifting coach. She shares her love of fitness with others by helping them reach their own fitness goals. Whether training one on one or coaching a class, Taylor works hard to motivate each individual to make progress with each workout session.

After back surgery following an injury sustained in the military, Tonya learned the importance of fitness to the healing process. She discovered how a strong, healthy body heals faster and wanted to share that with others. She has brought her knowledge to the gym to educate others on health and fitness and help them with their fitness goals.

Fiona is a ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, as well as a Certified Transformation Specialist. She has a strong belief that exercise and holistic wellness strategies are the best way to instill and maintain a healthy body, mind, and soul. Her specialty is in weight loss, strength/conditioning, & maintenance strategies. Fionas’ focus is on clients being and staying mindful with each exercise, as well as teaching proper form, posture, and balance to help make sure of client’s body awareness while exercising. I target to educate my clients, also help them secure positive behavioral change, to create lifelong healthy habits. After spending years going up & down in weight, at her heaviest she was 235. That’s when she decided to take control and never look back. Fiona played volleyball competitively for 8 plus years. As a college athlete she was: MVP, & Top 12 all region. “I vow to preach my passion for a healthy lifestyle to as many people as possible to help make the world a happier, healthier place.
