Through these experiences, however, and with a genuine passion for fitness, she invested in learning about health and fitness, which led to a career in fitness that has spanned over 20 years. Well-versed in nutrition, and certified as a Personal Trainer, she now uses her knowledge to help others live a more active, energetic life at any age. As an older, senior citizen, Bonnie realizes more than ever the importance of exercise and nutrition to maintain an active, happy and healthy life. Bonnie spends her free time assisting her husband with his small Ebay business where he sells antiques and collectible items. If she’s not at home, she can usually be found with her daughter, who has followed in Bonnie’s footsteps and is an avid trail runner/hiker, and her three grandchildren, Gabby, Isaiah and Hannah, enjoying “Oma” time.

Falls are the number one reason first responders are called on the scene and it is her goal to prevent as many as possible. Fitness can start at any time and any age from 5-110 you just have to make the choice to do it and keep making that choice even when you don't feel like it. "I wish there had been something like this when I was younger, sports weren't my thing, and strength training was still a guys sport. It took an eating dissorder, post partum depression, anxiety, the loss of a beloved family member, and one friend having a life altering medical emergency for me to take my life into my own hands and stop being afraid of the possibilities outside of my comfort zone. It's my goal to encourage, support and train anyone who is ready! Be unapologetically you and 100% authentic no matter what!! Life is to beautiful and short to waste being anything other then your best you"
